Ambassador Mr. Huang Ping pays courtesy farewell visit on Zimbabwean prominent government officials

Recently, Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe Mr. Huang Ping paid courtesy farewell visit on the Zimbabwean prominent government officials. He met with the speaker of the house of Assembly- Hon. Jacob Mudenda, Senate president -Hon. Mable Chinomona, Officiating Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage – Hon. Cain Mathema, Minister of Defence & War Veterans- Hon. Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, Minister of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services – Hon. Monica Mutsvangwa, Minister of Environment Tourism and Hospitality Industry – Hon. Priscah Mupfumira, Minister of Mines and Mining Development– Hon. Winston Chitando, Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs – Hon. Ziyambi, Minister of Higher & Tertiary Education – Hon. Amon Murwira, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education – Hon. Paul Mavhima, ZANU PF Secretary for administration- Dr. Obert Mphofu, Secretary for External Affairs- Mr. Mumbengegwi, Secretary for Finance-Patrick Chinamasa, Secretary for information-Simon Khaya-Moyo, Secretary for Economic Affairs-Dr. Christopher Mushohwe, etc.

Ambassador Mr. Huang Ping bade farewell to the Zimbabwean prominent government officials. He expressed sincere gratitude for the highly attention paid to develop the relations between Zimbabwe and China and the great support to the embassy from Zimbabwean government, Parliament and ZANU-PF, reviewing the positive improvements and results achieved in every aspect through two countries' collaboration on politics, inter-party exchanges, economic and trading business, financial cooperation, non-governmental exchanges in the past 3 years. He emphasized that two sides' practical cooperation in every field has been further expanded through the joint efforts from the two governments and the people, under the initiative of One Belt and One Road and the work frame of FOCAC, the comprehensive and strategic partnership between China and Zimbabwe will continue to move toward to a new level.



Zimbabwean prominent government officials gave their highly complementary remarks and grateful thanks to the Ambassador Mr. Huang Ping for his outstanding contribution to the improvement and the deep development of the relations between Zimbabwe and China and the benefit of the two peoples. They reaffirmed the great importance of the relations between Zimbabwe and China. It is their hope that Zimbabwe and China work together, seeing the success of Beijing Summit of FOCAC as an opportunity to promote the future development of bilateral relations with more achievements, bring more benefit to the two counties and the people, make a due contribution to building a community with a shared future between China and Africa. All prominent government officials expressed dismay at the Ambassador's Mr. Huang Ping's leaving and wished him all the best and success in his new role.

Zimbabwean Media highly praised the extensive efforts contributed by Ambassador Mr. Huang Ping to the bilateral relations and wished him good luck and success in the new role.
