The Chinese restaurants, the Chinese communities, the Chinese enterprises and the Chinese Embassy prepared over tens of thousands of portions of all kinds of Chinese food, which were very popular and sold out before the end of the festival. All the sales income will be donated to a local charity organization - Zimbabwe Parents of Handicapped Children Association.

There were also displays of the delicate Chinese food carving, and demonstrations of Chinese food processing on the spot, enabling the guests to not only taste the food, but also appreciate the delicacy of the food and see how it was cooked.

This festival is not only a feast of food, but also a feast of culture. Apart from tasting the typical Chinese food, the guests were also attracted by the Chinese fashion show and colorful performances by the Women’s club of the Chinese Embassy, the Chinese women’s model group in Zimbabwe, Zimbabwean Confucius Institute, Zimbabwe Wushu Association and the winners of the “Zimbabwe’s Got Talent” Show.
